aireio lists 6,626 cafés, libraries and coworking spaces that people work from, across 77 cities. Every one was assembled from OpenStreetMap, Google Places and venues' own websites — which means we know your address and we are guessing at everything that matters. We can confirm power outlets at 137 of the 6,626. You know which of those yours is.
What claiming gets you
- The facts fixed. Opening hours, whether there is Wi-Fi, whether there are outlets and where, how much of the room is workable, whether you have a back room nobody knows about. Every page shows the source and date behind each fact, so a correction from you is visibly better evidence than a map tag from 2019.
- A say in who turns up. The people reading this are looking for somewhere to open a laptop for two hours. If that is your quiet Tuesday morning trade, say so. If it is your worst nightmare at lunch, say that instead — we will put it on the page and stop sending them.
- A line to a person. There is no ticket system. You email a human and a human replies.

- On the listing, use Own this place? at the foot of the page.
- Tell us who you are and what we have wrong. An email at your own domain gets dealt with fastest.

- How do I add my café or coworking space to aireio?
- Search for your city, and if the place is not already listed you can add it from the city page. Most venues are already here — we built the catalogue from OpenStreetMap and Google Places rather than waiting to be told — so it is usually a matter of claiming the listing rather than creating one.
- Does it cost anything to be listed?
- No. Listing is free, claiming a listing is free, and correcting what we have wrong is free. There is no paid tier, no promoted placement and nothing to buy. If that ever changes, correcting your own listing will not be part of it.
- Can I edit my own listing?
- Not directly. Claiming tells us the listing is yours and opens a conversation; a person reads it and makes the corrections you send. We are not going to let anyone take over a page by filling in a form, because a directory where that works is a directory nobody can trust.
- Can I get a bad rating removed?
- No. Ratings come from people who worked there and they stay, the same as anywhere else worth reading. What you can do is correct the facts around them — hours, Wi-Fi, outlets, whether laptops are welcome and when — which is usually what the complaint was really about.
- I do not want laptop workers. Can I say so?
- Yes, and it helps everyone. Plenty of cafés would rather not have someone on one coffee for three hours, especially at lunch. Tell us and the listing says so, which sends those people somewhere that wants them instead of sending them to you to be disappointed.
