A place to work, wherever you are

aireio is a directory of cafés, libraries and coworking spaces for people who work from their laptop. Google can tell you a café exists. It cannot tell you whether the Wi‑Fi holds a video call, whether there is a free outlet, or whether you will be asked to leave after an hour. The people who have worked there can.

How it works

  1. Search a city. If we do not have it yet, we add it on the spot and pull in nearby places from Google.
  2. Open a place. You see what Google and OpenStreetMap know about it, plus what other remote workers have rated: Wi‑Fi, outlets, seating, noise and more.
  3. Rate it yourself. Each rating is one tap, earns a coin, and is pooled with everyone else's. Your own rating stays yours to change or remove.

Where the data comes from

Place names, addresses, opening hours, photos and star ratings come from Google Places. Amenity tags such as toilets, coffee prices and social links are filled in from OpenStreetMap where available. Everything else, the ratings that matter for working, comes from signed-in aireio users. We show the source and the date a place was last checked on every page.
