Trident Cafe and Books on Newbury is a decent option during the week. Definitely gets more of a brunch crowd on the weekends.

When it comes to working away from home, it’s hard to beat Trident. ... I like to sit at the bar, where lots of people tend to have a book or a laptop out. ... Free wifi: Yes, occasionally spotty
- Laptops: welcome
- Wi‑Fi: yes
- Wi‑Fi: poor
