CIC is not free, but there is plenty of tables and chairs on the ground floor in that building, open to everyone, in front Rossmann, which a lot of people use as free coworking

There are free tables, sockets and wifi in CIC on Chmielna 73 (floors 0 and 1, farther wing from the train station). It won't be quiet enough for calls, but you'll be more than able to do regular work (especially in headphones).
